Co-founder of the Nemtsov Foundation, Director of the Summer School of Journalism.

In 2017, I was a participant at the Fisher’s Family Summer Fellows Program led by Stanford University, and this was a transformative experience for me. I decided to create something similar, but with a focus on the media. This program is an opportunity to broaden your horizons, get a fresh perspective on your career and life and possibly take the next step.

Professor, Scientific Director of the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism at Dortmund Technical University.

The Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism works for press freedom and media accountability across the globe. The BNF School will connect critical young voices from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus - so much needed in this moment of history. The School will also connect participants with young German journalists in order to create long-lasting networks. And our Dortmund journalism students will profit so much from this intercultural knowledge-sharing.

Over the years of its existence, the Summer School has become an event that is hard to miss on the European map of professional events focused on the Eastern European region. The School has helped shape a new generation of people whose voices are noticeably heard in the public space, and whose opinions shape critical public consciousness.
